George Orwell, the author of Animal Farm, also had a lot of different accomplishments in his life besides Animal Farm, although Animal Farm is probably the most popular book of his. He has published several fiction and non-fiction books, essays, and more. One of his famous fiction books is called 1984, which is similar to Animal Farm. It describes the miserable of the brainwashed lives the citizens live in, which is very unpleasant. Orwell has also published 2 relatively famous non-fiction books, one called Homage to Catalonia and the the other one called The Road to Wigan Pier.Homage to Catalonia was about his experience during the Spanish Civil War, while The Road to Wigan Pier was about the conditions of the working class, and how he grew questioning the British people’s view on Socialism. Most of his books are about his dissatisfaction about the politics and the unacceptable society, usually how the leader gets overthrown by the antagonist while unable to do anything. This was proved in one of his essays called Why I write, where he says "no book is genuinely free from political bias." which further tells us that his writings are about his political ideals.
